Who we are
Practice Brokers is operated by Practice Group Ltd (registered in England, company number 16379820). We are the data controller for the information you give us through this site. If you want to ask about any of this, or exercise any of the rights below, email us and it comes to Andy Jackson.
What we collect, and why
Only what you type into one of our two forms, plus, if you have accepted analytics cookies, anonymous information about how the site was used.
- The valuation form: your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, a phone number and the area you are in, together with your answers about fee levels, recurring percentage and handover. We use this to reply to you and to prepare for a conversation.
- The contact form: your name, email address and whatever you write in the message.
- Analytics: only if you press Accept on the cookie banner. See our cookie policy.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you made of us — and, for analytics cookies, your consent.
Who sees it
We do not sell data and we do not pass your details to buyers.
If you instruct us, we approach buyers on your behalf. Your firm is not named to anybody until a buyer has signed a non-disclosure agreement and you have agreed to that specific introduction. Making an enquiry is not an instruction, and nothing is shared on the strength of one.
We use suppliers who process data on our behalf: Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions; Google provides our email and, where you have consented, analytics. They act on our instructions and are not free to use your information for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us, which in this market is often years later. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. There is no charge and no form to fill in — just ask.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how any of this works we will change this page. It was last updated in September 2026.
